Minutes ago, I finished the first draft of the first novel I’ve ever written. Earlier today, I got a call from the HR lady at a company I’ve been courting asking for my references because they really liked my interview. And, I found some kickass shirts at the thrift store that actually fit me. Things are pretty damn good today.
That said, I know I still have a ton of work to do to get this thing finished, and after a short break I’ll be doing just that. I know that some of the latter parts are rushed in their current form, but that’s what drafts are all about right?
I’mma take a week for me, ’cause at this point I really need a break, but I can’t wait to get back into this and bring it to life.
